SUNDAY BRUNCH

The initial concept of Sunday brunch, back in 1993, was to make sure that we began Monday morning with everything freshly made… no leftovers at all.  Happily, it only took a couple of months of our being open to require that we dedicate most of the day Saturday to preparing for Sunday brunch.  It quickly became an Antiguan institution as tourists and locals alike came in to sample the fare with our broad selection of menu items.  As the restaurant grew, the menu grew, and our selection of goodies for brunch grew right along with it!  We truly hope you enjoy it!  It’s the best way to get acquainted with the menu.   â€‹

 

 

 

 

SOFT SCRAMBLED EGGS 

organic, free range eggs from Happy Chickens Farm (with salsa ranchera  and jalapeño hot sauce served on the side); sometimes we offer Guatemalan style eggs with sautéed tomato and onion

 

HOMEFRIED POTATOES

old fashioned...sautéed in butter with sliced green onion. 

 

REFRIED BEANS

made from scratch right here!  (Yep, from the dried black bean.)

 

PANCAKES

 a variety of flavors….sometimes oatmeal, whole wheat or even yellow corn.

 

QUICHE

tomato-basil or spinach, both with artisan mozzarella cheese and our whole organic milk and lovely cream that makes it stand out as one of the best quiches ever. 

 

CONDESA SALAD

cubes of tomato, slices of cucumber dressed with our vinaigrette, stuffed olives and huge Guatemalan capers.

 

POTATO SALAD 

cubes of potato, green onion, and crispy bacon dressed with our vinaigrette.

 

JAPANESE SALAD

mien noodles tossed with shitake mushrooms, sliced green onion and sesame seeds and dressed with a soy sauce - toasted sesame oil dressing. 

 

TRENDY GREENS SALAD

a wide variety of lettuces and greens, tossed with our house vinaigrette and topped with orange slices and toasted macadamia nuts. 

 

HOT SOUP

One of our four house soups or the daily special which varies with the season.
